We are seeking a Strategic Account Director to join our revenue team. This is an individual contributor role responsible for managing a book of 100-120 active clients and driving account expansion.
This is not a leadership or team management role. The ideal candidate is a skilled relationship builder who thrives in client-facing roles and has a strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and ORM strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a primary contact for strategy, account growth, and retention
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly quota targets
- Understand client goals, challenges, and objectives, and build an expansion revenue strategy based on client needs
- Conduct regular check-ins to assess client satisfaction, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities
- Act as a trusted partner and advisor to clients by providing actionable insights that help clients achieve their ORM and SEO goals
- Save accounts by promptly contacting clients who indicate interest in opting out
- Routinely follow up with past clients to cultivate re-engagement of their services
- Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect and pipeline data in Zoho
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- A dynamic self-starter with 5+ years of sales experience
- 2+ years of experience in ORM and SEO
- Strong relationship-building skills, including the ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with colleagues and clients
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation Package:
- Base Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
- Top Performers: Earning $15,000+ per month
- Total Earning Potential: $100,000 - $180,000+ annually
