We're Hiring: Executive Assistant - Private Markets


Compensation: $100K base + bonus

Location: Hybrid - NYC

Industry: Financial Services Investment Management


Our client, a leading international financial services provider, is looking for a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Global Chief Operating Officer, Private Markets. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, managing executive-level administrative tasks and contributing to key business operations.


What You'll Do:


Executive Support

  • Provide high-level administrative support, including calendar management, travel coordination, and expense reporting.
  • Serve as a gatekeeper, managing emails, calls, and requests.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist in meeting preparation, agenda setting, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive business matters.

Operational & Project Support

  • Track key deliverables and milestones for operational processes.
  • Support internal teams and manage external stakeholder relationships.
  • Partner with corporate real estate and vendors to help manage the NYC office.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance administrative efficiency.

Meeting & Event Coordination

  • Organize and schedule internal and external meetings and events.
  • Take meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
  • Plan executive off-sites and business events as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of executive assistant experience, preferably in financial services or asset management.
  • Strong ability to manage complex calendars, travel, and high-volume correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, Concur).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-pressure environment.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cultures.
