We have an opening for an Administrative Operations Manager to assist our organization in our day-to-day operations. This position provides administrative support for general operations, and programs such as: filing, preparing written communication, reception, data entry, proposals, event planning, and other duties.

Status:

Non-exempt position, Full Time 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years related experience; nonprofit experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, MS Office Suite, Canva or other graphic design software.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and to complete and report on assignments.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, diplomacy, and tact.
  • Excellent organizational, management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and well organized
  • Must have valid driver's license, insurance, and a dependable vehicle with the ability to travel locally
Essential Functions:
  • Provide support to Executive staff members.
  • In a professional and friendly manner, answer some phone calls, accept donations, etc.
  • Maintain organizational files and documents.
  • Data entry and database management for families, donors, and vendors.
  • Assist the Executive Director in recording family specifics and details about their situation.
  • Managing travel itinerary and event marketing kits for Executive Staff as needed.
  • Assist in planning and carrying out administrative duties for events such as Annual Gala, Golf Tournament, 5K, Gift Basket Drive, Holiday Toy Drive.
  • Inventory and maintaining office supplies and organizing event kits.
  • Maintaining and organizing printed media and other marketing items such as clothes, stickers, etc.
  • Take and send meeting notes post board and internal staff meetings.
  • Assist in the organization of digital media.
  • Minor accounting and bill paying.
  • Draft sponsorship proposals and assemble packets per donor requests.
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and disseminating written communications.
  • Complete various clerical projects including but not limited to mail, filing, emailing, preparation of letters, mail mergers, errands by car etc.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Compensation: This is an hourly position with a pay range of $28.00 - $31.00/hour DOE. Medical Plan and other benefits.
