About the Company: Our client, a reputable organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Operations Coordinator to join their team. This role is integral to ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Position Overview: As an Administrative Assistant/Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing various operational tasks, including communication with customers, overseeing international shipping, and maintaining accurate data entry. You will play a key role in developing customer relationships and ensuring timely updates on shipment statuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with customers and maintain knowledge of products by vendor.
- Oversee the international shipping process, including quoting, organizing shipments, and ocean freight forwarding.
- Manage purchase orders and perform data entry tasks.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Provide clients with regular updates on shipment statuses.
- Utilize software such as Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks daily.
Qualifications:
- High proficiency in Excel is required.
- Experience with Outlook and QuickBooks is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
