The purpose of this function is to accurately and efficiently input all new loan, maintenance, and modification data as well as monetary transactions onto the commercial loan system. Accuracy in this function assures the credibility of information on the commercial loan system. In addition, there are two primary File Room functions. The first is to maintain the original document file room, which includes daily filing and scanning of original documents. The second is to accept new collateral and issue Letters of Credit. Other administrative duties such as performing certain audit functions, disaster recovery of loan documents, and ordering department supplies may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED required
College degree or administrative experience required
Strong PC knowledge specifically Microsoft Word (candidate will be tested). Experience in Access and Excel helpful

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of filing procedures
Excellent numeric input and typing skills
Good oral communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Math and/or accounting aptitude
Knowledge of loan documentation helpful
Ability to retrieve files weighing approximately 5 to 10 pounds from 7-foot high shelving units. Safety ladder is provided. Bending and stretching is also required.

Principle Activities and Duties:
Become proficient in commercial loan system functions
Accurately input new commercial loans, maintenance, and modification data onto the commercial loan system
Accurately input monetary transactions onto the commercial loan system
Balance batches prior to nightly processing
Maintain the original loan document file room including daily filing of original document files, keeping files in good repair, and following up on signed out files
Scan and index original loan documentation
Disaster recovery document maintenance
Verify collateral upon receipt and confirm appropriate authorization prior to issuing Letters of Credit
Supplies coordinator
