Job Title: Administrative Assistant / Research Assistant
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Pay range $25 - $30/hr
Work Type: Hybrid, onsite 3 times per week
Schedule: 8:30 am - 5 pm - Monday-Friday
Work Location: New York, NY

Job Description:
  • Provides top-level clerical or specialized administrative support
  • Performs multiple and diverse tasks that cover a wide range of complexity
  • Proactively exercises discretion and has autonomy to make decision within generally defined parameters
  • Generally, supports a large group/team (8 to 20+) and Senior Analysts
  • Coordinates and executes routine and non-routine administrative tasks
  • Collects, compiles, and analyzes moderately complex data and information, producing reports to be used by managers or department professionals
  • May conduct record keeping that requires a general knowledge of accounting and budgeting procedures
  • May provide direct assistance and support in staff activities
  • Coordinates, executes, and completes a variety of special projects and administrative assignments through planning, development, organization, analysis, and implementation
  • Provides administrative project support, using various software packages to produce high-quality reports, presentations, and/or other documents
Must Have:
  • Research assistant experience.
  • Admin experience
  • MS Office Suite
  • Scheduling, travel, and expenses experience
  • Calendar management experience
  • Understanding earnings calendars
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel experience
Nice To Have:
  • Investment banking experience
  • Sales & Trading experience
  • Front office - Client-facing experience.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED
Experience:
  • 3+ years
Note:
  • Fingerprinting Required
  • OT as required - No Weekend work
