POSITION: Administrative Assistant (10 Month)Comstock Early Learning AcademySALARY: Starting $16.89 - increase to $18.00 following 40-day probationQualifies for health insurance, retirement benefits, paid holidays, sick, vacation, and personal time according to contract AVAILABLE: August 4, 2025EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma with advanced office training or 3-5 years experience QUALIFICATIONS: - Proven excellent attendance & punctuality record
- Ability to use a major word processing program efficiently
- Experience with the Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
- Knowledge of correct grammar and spelling
- Knowledge of business telephone etiquette
- Ability to communicate empathetically and effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to move physically throughout the work environment
- Responsible and self-motivated
- Ability to focus on tasks in a distracting environment
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform general front office duties to maintain smooth building operation and for required reporting
- Assist parents with enrollment in various programs available to students
- Maintain confidentiality
- Store and retrieve student and other information efficiently
- Provide secretarial support
- Administer medication to students as authorized in accordance with established guidelines
- Relate well with students, parents, and staff
- Primary telephone voice for incoming calls
- Enroll new students in Infinite Campus and/or PowerSchool; send for CA60 files
- Enter student information into required systems
- Perform essential job functions specified for this position
- Champion and promote justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Other duties as assigned by administration
