  • 15 years of experience in a client-facing role with industry players, ad tech, online privacy, or trust and safety industries.
  • Experience in AdTech, online privacy, or trust and safety industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience managing a team and leading and influencing in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with product strategy and ad supported business models.
  • Experience in thought leadership in partnerships, business development, product management, marketing, or general management.
  • Experience working with technical concepts and with highly technical teams.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various internal stakeholders. Ability to work in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate strategic and tactical points in a structured manner.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Privacy Sandbox partnerships team works with web and mobile ad tech companies, platforms, publishers, marketers, infrastructure providers, anti-fraud services and other integrators to accelerate participation in the Privacy Sandbox initiative, which aims to introduce new privacy-forward technologies and mitigate cross-site and cross-app tracking. As a Strategic Partner Development Head, you will support partners through the process of piloting, evaluating, and/or integrating new privacy preserving Android APIs, and web APIs, while collecting important ecosystem use cases and insights.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of strategic partner business managers.
  • Translate leadership roadmap top down, be advocate for the team to leadership bottom up, and mentor and support team members' development.
  • Define partnership strategy and ensure Privacy Sandbox is a key privacy driver across multiple verticals (e.g., Enterprise, Marketplaces and Payments).
  • Develop relationships and work cross-functionally across the Global Partnerships organization.
  • Work closely with priority partner teams to anticipate impact and analyze risk.
