About the role:

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Lead for Altoida's Pharma

Solutions business. In this role, initially reporting to the CEO, you'll spearhead our mission to

revolutionize drug development through customer adoption of our innovative digital biomarker solutions.

Our first-of-kind digital biomarker platform offers pharmaceutical firms an unparalleled advantage in

accelerated screening of appropriate participants for clinical trials and the precise monitoring of treatment

response and disease trajectory. You will be responsible for generating sales by identifying new

opportunities, developing and executing an effective sales plan, meeting with clients and responding to

requests for proposals in order to drive the adoption of our transformative products to achieve

breakthrough results. Your expertise and leadership will not only accelerate the development of

groundbreaking Alzheimer's treatments but also significantly contribute to the advancement of

personalized medicine, making a profound impact on patients' lives worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or Exceed Quarterly and Annual Sales Targets: Identifying and capturing key commercial opportunities through strategic analysis and targeted sales initiatives.
  • Drive Sales Pipeline Growth: Proactively conduct market research and employ innovative prospecting techniques to significantly expand the pool of potential leads and opportunities.
  • Drive Internal Team Collaborations: Partner with cross-functional teams to craft and deliver persuasive customer presentations that highlight the unique value of our solutions.
  • Leverage Industry Events for Lead Generation: Actively participate in relevant trade and scientific conferences to network, gather industry insights, and work with marketing to develop impactful marketing materials that attract and engage potential clients.
  • Drive a Consultative Sales Approach: Engage decision-makers and influencers across the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors (C-suite, data science, neuroscience, and clinical development) with a consultative strategy, focusing on understanding and meeting their unique needs.
  • Lead Proposals and Contracts Negotiations: Create customized proposals that align with customer objectives and operational capabilities, overseeing the negotiation process from initiation to conclusion.
  • Ensure Seamless Project Transitions: Act as the primary liaison until project commencement, ensuring a smooth handover to Customer Operations for flawless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Track and Report Sales Activities: Diligently record all sales actions and progress in the company's CRM system, providing transparent and accurate updates to stakeholders.
  • Embrace a Role of Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Regularly seek out and undertake additional responsibilities that contribute to the team's success, demonstrating a commitment to personal growth and organizational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years quota-carrying sales experience.
  • Experience effectively using modern CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting or exceeding sales targets, selling into pharmaceutical, biotech or other life sciences companies.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of driving product success in a competitive market.
  • Effective at working independently, but skilled in interpersonal relationships. Proven ability to mobilize internal and external resources to attain goals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management and decision-making skills. Proven track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance.
  • Proven capability to build alignment and collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Initiative, sense of urgency, passion, energy to succeed and thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.
  • Demonstrated initiative and creativity.

Compensation

Altoida provides competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits programs. Specific benefit offerings may vary by location, position, and/or business unit. The full-time salary range is commensurate with experience.

Location

Altoida's US headquarters is located in Washington, DC. The position is remote.
