General Manager- Zulu Grille Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a
General Manager- Zulu Grille. In this position, you'll primarily operate a busy eatery located within our indoor waterpark. This high-volume outlet serves 2000+ people on a busy day. During the summer season, you will have dual responsibility over Zulu Grille and the outdoor Zanzibar Grille. Whether our guests are lounging poolside or relaxing in a cabana, there's no need to leave the water park to refuel. The menu includes premium burgers, pizza, grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, and so much more.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily operations.
- Hire, train, schedule, and lead concessions staff.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Maintain inventory levels and control waste.
- Ensure excellent guest service and resolve guest issues.
- Enforce health, safety, and compliance standards.
- Analyze performance data and implement operational improvements.
What We're Looking For - 3-5+ years in food & beverage or concessions management, preferably in a high-volume environment like a theme park, stadium, or resort.
- Comfort with analyzing sales and labor reports to drive decisions.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate large, seasonal teams.
- Degree or coursework in Hospitality Management, Business, or Food Service Management is a plus.
