Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement an intricate and detailed approach for the execution of ZT Metrics. Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources. Assess DoD's ZT implementation and draft a ZT metrics baseline. Consider ZT PfMO artifacts: FY24/FY25 I-Plans, leverage NSA's ZIG Ref for Req. validation) Provide lessons learned from ZT implementation. Develop and provide: ZT Capability Deficit Metrics Operational Metrics/ MIDEP POC/rubric Cost Metrics/ MILDEP POC/rubric Advanced End Statements Metric Statements User Pillar CCI/ ZT End Statement User Pillar Develop Metrics Pilot Plan Advise ZT PfMO on the technical platform to select and implement ZT metrics tool visualizations, risk analysis formula and reporting process. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to track performance and identify trends. Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific ZT questions. Consider and develop ZT risk and process. Advise, consider, and develop ZT Metrics data collection process and reporting practices, including eMASS and scorecard. Draft ZT Metrics Road map and guidance. Process for incorporation of ZT score from dashboard into eMASS. Pilot ZT Formula for compliance, completeness and effectiveness Pilot measures of performing gap analysis for all things ZT objectives and metrics categories. Performs analyses of metrics to identify trends as well as areas of immediate concern and escalates to management attention, as necessary. Applies learnings from reports / analytics to the operations organization to foster an environment of continuous improvement and accountability. Provide outcome-based metrics indicating how well ZT is implementing and achieving ZT across the department, providing insights into what can be improved. Use data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven changes. Stay up to date on industry's best practices and emerging tools for data analysis and reporting. Communication and collaboration: Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. Collaborate with other teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Skills/Experience: Must have an active Top-Secret Clearance / SCI Knowledge of Zero Trust solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207 and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture Ability to collaborate with project and proposal teams to incorporate and develop high-quality implementation plans and roadmaps 10+ years' experience in USG cyber risk management, assessments and authorization (A&A), certification & accreditation (C&A) and using NIST Special Publications (SP) (e.g.: SP800-30, SP800-37, SP800-53, etc.) 10+ years' experience in designing and engineering enterprise IT solutions within the USG using NIST SP (e.g.: SP800-60, SP800-64, SP800-80, SP800-122, SP800-137, SP800-146, SP800-160, SP800-204, SP800-207, SP800-213, etc.) Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
