Purpose: Oversee and help coordinate all ministries to youth, 6th grade through 12th grade students
Compensation and Schedule: - Salary based on experience and skills.
- 40 hours per week
- 2 weeks of vacation per year

- Be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
- Be a member of PLCC, understanding and embracing its vision and mission.
- Be a relational team-player, with staff and with youth volunteers
- Have a love for ministry to 6th grade through post-high students
- Feel very comfortable using Planning Center, social media, texting, technology, etc.
Responsibilities/Tasks: - Work with the children's ministries director to coordinate schedules, events, etc.
- Attend and facilitate weekly staff meetings and be part of the staff team
- Attend church council meetings once a month - presenting necessary information and dialoguing with other church council members for maximum unity, support and cooperation with all church ministries
- Recruit, oversee and train youth ministry volunteers
- Lead the Youth Ministry team scheduling and leading meetings, encouraging and supporting each team member, and sharing pertinent information for unified ministry
- Provide age-appropriate programs, biblical training, events and activities for 6th-post high students with the intention of encouraging each teen toward deeper relationship with Jesus
- Reach out to teens weekly to encourage, support, care and recruit
- Be available to teens and parents for questions and care, concerning common teen issues
- Ability to provide the message on Sunday mornings, up to once a month.
Special Considerations: (Could be up to 10-15 hours of responsibility each 40-hour week)
- Gifted in the area of worship
- Has experience in running sound
- Has experience overseeing other people, not just volunteers
- Has provided messages in the past
