Position: Yard Auditor

Reports To: Operations Manger

Job Class: Hourly

Location: Victorville, CA

The Yard Auditor will be responsible for providing assistance with answering delivery or pick up questions regarding products Check in and out drivers. Maintain a professional, organized appearance of the yard. All employees are expected to be consistent in following company policies and procedures and safety guidelines; timeliness, quality, accuracy and thoroughness of work performed; attendance, dress, leadership, honesty, integrity, teamwork and respect for others.

• Greets customers and establishes positive customer relations. Customer service is priority number one.

• Uses proper material handling techniques.

• Resolves safety issues independently.

• Correctly assists customers in loading materials on vehicles as required.

• Accurately processes paperwork including returned merchandise, additions or changes.

• Maintains safety checks on yard

• 1. Uses good housekeeping at all times, keeps yard and product in order at all times.

• Takes responsibility for own errors and mistakes.

• Provides security at the gate/guard shack.

• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Must abide by Company Policies

• Education A high school education or equivalent is required. Must be able to read, write and speak English and have the ability to work with and understand printed forms and documents.

• Experience Prior experience in the building industry or customer service is desirable, but not required.

• Good communication both written and verbal

• Must be able to maintain positive, professional relationships with customers and co-workers.

• Must be able to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written

• Must be able to organize and prioritize the workload assigned

• Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision to complete assigned projects

• Must maintain regular and consistent attendance record

Typical Working Conditions: This position works outside constantly. An employee in this position will encounter high heat and very cold temperatures. Weather conditions encountered will be sun, rain and snow.

The California base pay range for this position is from $37,440 to $38,480. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
