We are seeking experienced and professional Master 500GT Yacht Captains to command luxury yachts based in Fort Lauderdale, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and Dubai. This role offers the chance to work with a prestigious clientele while managing yacht operations in some of the world's most sought-after destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely command a yacht up to 500GT, ensuring compliance with international and local maritime regulations.
- Manage yacht operations and itineraries tailored to the unique preferences of fractional owners in the designated region.
- Oversee all aspects of yacht maintenance, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety, luxury, and efficiency.
- Lead and manage a professional crew, fostering a service-oriented environment.
- Coordinate logistics, including provisioning, budget management, and overseeing refits or repairs when needed.
- Represent the company with professionalism and always maintain discretion.
Qualifications:
- Valid Master 500GT license or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as a captain on luxury yachts of similar size.
- Expertise in operating yachts in one or more of the following regions: Fort Lauderdale, Mediterranean, Caribbean, or Dubai.
- Strong leadership and crew management skills.
- Commitment to safety, environmental standards, and delivering exceptional service.
- Must be able to clear an extensive background check.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fractional ownership or private yacht management.
- Familiarity with advanced yacht systems and modern technology.
- Luxury Charter experience is a plus.
- Multilingual abilities are a strong advantage.
