Summary
Responsible for managing and maintaining the Xfinity Wi-Fi platform.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and Planning

• Participate in design of new features and enhancements to existing the configuration and policy flow with key stakeholders.

• Develop code for new features, policy flows, and protocols within the platform.

• Manage and maintain various profiles and models in support of different types of customers.

• Support and optimize performance of current infrastructure to maximize efficiency, capacity, reliability, and security.

• Implementation and Configuration.

• Define and socialize standard procedures for network installation, maintenance, and operations: create detailed MOPs.

• Follow the change management process for creation, implementation, validation, and completion using.

• Participate in development of automation to streamline processes.

• Manage and maintain hardware and network configurations for LAB, pre-prod, and production environments.

• Plan and implement hardware, network upgrades, and expansions.

Knowledge - Intermediate

• Protocols - RADIUS, DIAMETER, EAP TTLS/TLS/GTC: secure profiles, certs, and keys, SOAP, SSH, UDP, TCP, SFTP, SCP

• L2 and TCP/IP Networking, IPv4/IPV6, MAC addressing - MAC randomization, Captive Portal integration.

• Coding skills - Java, Javascript, Perl

• Linux - Intermediate, CentOS preferred.

• Tools - Grafana, Wireshark, Zabbix, Splunk

• Scripting/Automation - Bash, Ansible

• Database/Streaming - SQL, MySQL, Cassandra, Kafka

• Hardware - Client or Dell: physical server configuration, monitoring, management, and alerting

• F5 Load balancers and VIPs - configuration, monitoring, management, and alerting

• CI/CD - GIT, GIT Copilot, Jenkins, Mortar, Docker

• WiFi RF and Networking - General/Advanced
