X-Ray/CT Tech position in Weston County, WY.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares patients for radiologic procedures. Escorts patients to dressing and exam rooms, provides verbal and/or written instructions, and directs and/or assists patients in positioning body parts to be imaged. Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure patient care, safety and comfort during exam.
- Operates radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes in accordance with established policy and protocol.
- Completes required QC for equipment and maintains ACR/ MQSA requirements.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Ensures radiologic equipment remains in working order and reports malfunctions to direct supervisor. Opens maintenance tickets with the appropriate vendor when necessary.
- Performs any required administrative duties including scheduling, completing necessary forms, and maintenance and department supply ordering as required.
- Retrieves radiologic orders and transcribes related data into the electronic medical record.
Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
- Current ARRT RF(R).
- ARRT (CT) required within 1 year of start date.
- Current Wyoming License upon start date.
- Able to pass and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
