Workstation Support Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Support Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support to our users, ensuring smooth operation of computer hardware, software, and networking systems. This role involves troubleshooting issues, assisting with desktop support, and maintaining effective communication with team members and clients.

Responsibilities
Provide technical support for computer hardware and operating systems to end-users.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop support and help desk inquiries.
Assist in managing and maintaining computer networking systems, including TCP/IP configurations.
Utilize ServiceNow for tracking support tickets and managing workflow efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and implement solutions.
Maintain documentation of technical processes and user support interactions.
Support the configuration and management of Meraki devices as needed.

Skills
Proficient in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Strong understanding of various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users.
Knowledge of computer networking principles, including TCP/IP protocols.
Experience in help desk environments providing desktop support.
Familiarity with ServiceNow for issue tracking and project management.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
