Workshop Facilitator - Community Programs (Short-Term/Temporary) Cuesta College Salary: $16.00 - $125.00 Hourly Job Type: Part Time Job Number: FY1 Location: All Campuses and Distance Education, CA Department: Instruction Closing: 6/30/:59 PM Pacific Job Description Summary This is a recruitment for a short-term/temporary position. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Under minimal supervision, develop, market, and implement creative and engaging material for Community Programs' fee-based education and recreation program. Ensure that activities are safely and effectively implemented in an organized and professional manner. Rate of pay will be variable and based directly off student enrollment numbers. Net income from the course(s) may be split 50/50 up to $125 hourly for instructional time. Essential Functions & Qualifications Required: Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community education and recreation students Desirable: Teaching and/or work experience in the discipline Additional Information This is a short-term/temporary position. Students currently enrolled at Cuesta College will be given priority. Applications and course proposals will be reviewed year-round. Proposal deadlines fall on the first Friday in February, May, and October. Course proposal forms can be found at This assignment has no guaranteed pay or hours and will start only after hiring and course enrollment requirements are met.
