Northwest Mississippi Community College's Workforce Solutions and Career-Technical Education Division is looking for a pool of part-time Workforce Trainer(s) to provide healthcare related training across the College's district. The candidate should have extensive healthcare experience and requisite credentials depending on subject matter. Strong analytical, organizational, oral and written communication, judgment/problem solving and human relations skills are essential. Computer skills required. Must be able to work without close supervision. Experience training adults in a healthcare or post-secondary environment preferred. The position is part-time, meaning training hours will vary throughout the year, and is contingent on project funding approval from the Mississippi Community College Board. Job responsibilities/training areas: Healthcare Assistant (HCA/CNA) Emergency Medical Services (EMS Refresher and related areas) Leadership/Supervisory training DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct training programs in business and industry. Travel is required to business and industry sites across Northwest's 11 county service area. Promote and market Mississippi's Workforce Education Program to business and industry. Develop curricula for programs and administer assessments. Assist with the collection, review, and submission of all forms and reports to the proper agencies relative to the programs. Assist in the selection and procurement of instructional supplies and equipment for training and assessment programs. Perform all other duties assigned by the Director of Workforce Solutions and Community Services.
