Franklin D Azar & Associates is seeking a skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to become an integral part of our team. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to apply their expertise in a growing legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in all stages of Workers' Compensation case preparation and management.
- Thoroughly review and analyze medical records, insurance documents, and other pertinent information.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, medical professionals, and opposing counsel.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
- Organize, manage, and maintain case files and legal documents.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Conduct legal research and stay informed of developments in Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Paralegal.
- Proficient in legal research, case management software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
