Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a reputable firm to find an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal. This position is located in a dynamic and professional legal environment where the ideal candidate will be handling claims from inception through resolution. This role requires extensive contact with clients, attorneys, insurance adjustors, and medical providers, ensuring comprehensive management of each case.

Responsibilities:

  • Open new files, gather and analyze intake information and relevant documents.
  • Fully investigate each case and maintain regular contact with clients.
  • Prepare documents and correspondence relevant to the cases.
  • Collect documentation of all damages sustained, such as medical records, bills, and loss of income.
  • Read and interpret medical records and reports.
  • Organize and maintain case files efficiently.
4+ years of knowledge in personal injury/workers' compensation is required. The candidate must be able to jump into an existing caseload and move cases forward. A strong work ethic, the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, great people skills, and exceptional communication and written skills are essential. The candidate should also have proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and legal software.

Requirements:

The candidate should have 2-4 years of experience working for a workers' compensation or personal injury practice.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details:

Max Pay: $60,000Min Pay: $55,000
