Job Title: Workers' Compensation Attorney

Location: Remote

I am working with a highly respected law firm with offices throughout the state, known for delivering top-tier litigation services. We are currently seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. If you have 5 years of Workers' Compensation Defense experience and are ready to hit the ground running, this opportunity is for you.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

Qualifications:


  • 5 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Attorney (preferred)
  • Trial experience is highly desirable
  • Must be licensed to practice law in California
  • Prior experience representing clients before the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of California is a plus

Duties:


  • Provide legal representation and counsel in Workers' Compensation cases
  • Aggressively defend claims and promptly evaluate case merit
  • Effectively represent clients and expedite file closures
  • Handle suspected fraudulent or exaggerated cases with a strong defense
  • Develop tailored defense strategies based on case analysis
  • Scrutinize evidence to reduce unnecessary medical costs and minimize lost time for clients
