Workday Technical Analyst Overview: Our client is seeking a Workday Technical Analyst to assist in the development of a robust Human Capital Analytics solution. This role will leverage Workday technical expertise to enhance and streamline reporting capabilities and implement standardized reporting and dashboard metrics for the HR organization and Firm Leadership. Additionally, this position will support the implementation and maintenance of Workday integrations and collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and recommend solutions.
This position offers a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule and can be based in Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, or New York City.
Responsibilities: - Serve as a technical system subject matter expert (SME) for reporting and integration development.
- Assist with Workday software implementation and upgrades as necessary.
- Define and standardize global HR data sets for consistent reporting.
- Configure and perform audit reporting to ensure and maintain data integrity.
- Ensure confidentiality of data by adhering to established security standards.
- Analyze and prepare reports for surveys, publications, internal projects, and HR metrics.
- Consult with stakeholders to interpret data and create meaningful narratives.
- Communicate complex, technical information concisely to non-technical personnel.
- Assist with data management and reporting of EEO, AAP, and HR compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to define requirements for dashboards and reports that facilitate information sharing across HR and leadership teams.
- Support HR teams with data analysis.
- Utilize analytical and research skills to monitor trends and apply predictive modeling techniques to support the firm's Global HR Strategy.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and reduce cycle times.
- Participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of integrations between Workday and other systems using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Web Services, APIs, and other tools.
- Communicate with third-party vendors regarding file transfers, specifications, and issue resolution.
- Support special projects and initiatives requested by HR and Firm Leadership.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Recommend best practices to optimize the use of Workday reporting and integration functionalities.
- Stay up to date with Workday Community discussions, training, webinars, and participate in bi-annual Workday releases.
- Assist end-users and internal teams on Workday-related issues.
Education and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in an analytical or quantitative discipline, HR, MIS, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of HRIS and Workday experience in a professional services industry.
- Workday expertise in Integrations and Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Trending, BIRT) is required.
- Experience with PECI integration for third-party payroll vendors (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- SQL experience is preferred.
- Strong HR acumen and technical aptitude with proven experience in data management, analysis, and interpretation.
