This position is hybrid, working onsite 3 days/week in Scottsdale, AZ and 2 days/week remote from home; candidates must be local to Arizona or willing to relocate to work onsite Tues-Thurs


Job Description:

Title: Workday System Administrator/SME

Duration: Permanant (FTE)

Type: Hybrid; working 3 days/week onsite (Tues-Thurs) and 2 days/week remotely

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (OPEN TO CANDIDATES RELOCATING TO AZ.)


Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years or more serving as a primary administrator for Workday
  • Demonstrated ability to design and solution new integrations with Workday as needed. As well as perform configurations, maintenance, integrations, and optimizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver timely, quality work within deadlines
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Workday business process framework, calculated fields, configurable security, and advanced reporting required
  • Strong experience with Workday Integration toolset
  • Ability to gather technical and business requirements and translate into action plans
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

  • Workday Certification in one or more modules required
  • Relevant background in HCM, Supply Chain/Procurement, and Finance systems heavily preferred
  • Experience of Azure DevOps is a preferred

Job Description:

Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for the overarching administration of the Workday application. As an administrator this role will participate in release activities including reviewing, testing, and implementing upgrades and patches.


Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Workday, responsible for configuration, maintenance, data loads, integrations and optimization.
  • Manage Workday security configuration, business processes, and security administration. Manages security roles and domains for the BCC and Elected Officials.
  • Responsible for being knowledgeable regarding the Workday roadmap and upcoming product releases, reviewing release notes, assessing new features, understanding the impacts on business processes and basic changes in functionality.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoots issues, and resolves problems related to Workday functionality, data integrity, and system integrations.
  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Monitor and track progress on Workday support tickets and collaborate and support functional leads with escalated issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues or problems related to security and business process function regularly.

Compensation:

$115,000 to $125,000 per year annual salary.
