Our client, a popular fashion brand, is seeking a

Workday Analyst for Compensation & Benefits

to join their team in New York on a contract basis.

Workday experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the go-to expert for Workday Compensation and Benefits functionality
  • Configure and maintain compensation plans, packages, eligibility rules, bonus/incentive programs, and open enrollment events
  • Assist with open enrollment and compensation planning configuration, testing, and execution in partnership with Compensation, Benefits and Payroll teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements
  • Provide day-to-day system support and troubleshooting
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within Workday and implement best practices.
  • Participate in feature release, testing, and implementation of new Workday functionality

Skills:

  • 4 years of HRIS experience with at least 2+ years of Workday Compensation and Benefits configuration and experience in handling Workday change requests, defects, incidents, and end user (employees + business partner) concerns
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a high-growth, retail-paced environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Compensation and Benefits modules particularly in a retail, multi-location, or hourly workforce environment
  • In-depth understanding of compensation structures, job architecture, merit cycles, bonus plans, and equity programs
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits programs (medical, dental, 401(k), life, etc.) and related compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with other Workday modules (eg, Core HCM, Talent, Payroll, or Reporting)
  • Proficiency in Business Process Configuration and administration, including workflows, validations, and conditional rules
  • Possess an investigative nature, a desire to problem solve, and ability to think outside of the box
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a desire to thoroughly understand the short and long term impact
  • Experience with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills-able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
