Position Description

As the Women's Health Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical, operational, and administrative functions of our OB/GYN department. You will lead a team of skilled professionals to deliver exceptional care while ensuring the department operates smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards. Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the OB/GYN department, including supervision of clinical staff, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide clinical leadership, including overseeing patient care, diagnosis, treatment plans, and surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  • Develop and manage the department s budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and mentoring of OB/GYN staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with medical advancements, ensuring the department incorporates the latest evidence-based practices.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
  • Active medical license to practice in Virginia.
  • Active DEA Certification.
  • Minimum of FIVE years of experience in OB/GYN, with at least FIVE years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven track record of managing and motivating teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, patients, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in OB/GYN care.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
  • Spanish-speaking preference.
