The Talent Mine is seeking an experienced
Windows Systems Engineer to join our client's IT department in the Seattle area. Overview: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in Windows and Networking environments and will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting our client's infrastructure and end-user systems. We are looking for a well-rounded, broad skilled and curious IT professional that loves "raising their hand" to take ownership on projects, issues and come up with solutions, and enjoys customer facing support.
A day in the life will include: - Provide Tier I-III technical support for end users and Windows-based applications
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Manage and support Azure Cloud to on-prem migrations
- Assist with firewall configurations and basic network troubleshooting
- Collaborate with IT leadership to enhance system performance, security, and reliability
- Create automation using PowerShell and other scripts/tools to make IT systems run more efficiently
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in Windows systems administration, engineering and support
- Strong expertise in Windows 10, Office 365, AD, and Group Policy
- Proven experience in Azure Cloud to on-prem migrations
- Solid understanding of firewalls and basic networking concepts
- Specific expertise running and taking the lead on end to end IT projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience supporting legal or professional services environments a plus
