JOB DESCRIPTION Seeking a highly motivated and driven Windows/Linux Systems Administrator to work Onsite supporting enterprise IT for our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, operate, and maintain secure, reliable communications and computing infrastructures enabling labs to develop and test new and innovative weapon systems. Provide products, services, and support to ensure an efficient and effective operating environment for NAVAIR laboratories, programs, and test events. REQUIREMENTS 4-8 years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Experience monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Experience monitoring and testing website performance to ensure websites operate correctly and without interruption. Experience in performing network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Experience in collaborating with computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. Experience administering network security measures. CERTIFICATION(s) CompTIA Security+ CE SECURITY CLEARANCE Active Top Secret Security Clearance EDUCATION BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an Information Technology. COMPENSATION The likely salary range for this position is $95,014 - $134,596 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of total compensation or salary or any other compensation offered. Rather, the salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
