Position: Windchill Software Developer Employment Type: Full Time About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Windchill Developer to join our team. This position allows for remote work, with periodic travel to the client's office required for critical program milestones. You will play a key role in customizing Windchill products to enhance functionality and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities: - Customize Windchill products (PDMLink, MPMLink) for enhancements and issue resolution, leveraging your expertise in software development.
- Develop and integrate Windchill tools using REST Services and SOAP.
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team using methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Utilize Java, JSP, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, XSD, and XSLT for Windchill modifications.
- Engage with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and GitHub; and perform testing using Cucumber, Selenium, and Junit.
- Troubleshoot and debug development issues, escalating to 3rd party vendors when necessary.
- Create and maintain scalable solutions from a single codebase.
- Deliver customer-focused solutions with a results-driven approach.
Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically with Windchill products.
- Strong background in Java and Windchill tools.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Windchill PDMLink 11.1 or later and Creo Parametric.
- Familiarity with engineering release activities in Windchill.
- Experience with customizations in Windchill, such as ACLs and Workflows.
- Knowledge of Oracle databases and strong software process discipline.
- A self-motivated team player with effective communication skills.
