We're seeking a self-motivated Wholesale Sales Rep to join our team. Inked Brands works with niche brands to scale their businesses by analyzing and optimizing product assortment for both the ecommerce and wholesale sales channels. Our team is fun, creative, and willing to take smart risks. In this role, you'll be responsible for strategy and execution of trade shows and key account management to drive revenue growth with an eye on profitability for a variety of brands. You'll be a key contributor - directly responsible for the creation, implementation, analysis, and management of successful workflows and department processes, aligning strategies with overall company goals. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive and manage the sales process - actively engage sales opportunities, identify customer solutions, close, and follow-up.
- Generate new business by establishing metrics and follow-up processes for wholesale customers through key accounts or Inked's customer support team.
- Proactively conduct market analysis, research prospects, and sell and leverage existing relationships.
- Nurture and guide rep groups, enabling them to achieve sales goals and improve YoY performance.
- Manage key accounts.
- Develop relationships and build brand presence in assigned channel.
- Together with the marketing team, inform and guide the creation of marketing assets for trade shows and/or accounts.
- Advise accounts on forthcoming product developments and special promotions.
- Plan and organize tradeshow sales strategy including strategies for different markets.
- Organize and attend trade shows and other events.
- Act as a project manager for the completion of catalogs to maintain on-time printing and manage the catalog mailing list for each brand. Inform design and structure of catalogs to meet tradeshow and general sales needs.
- Identify improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Calculate and prepare promotional offers together with the sales and finance teams.
- Forecast sales and product demands in accordance with established goals for wholesale channel.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- Post-secondary degree preferred but not required
- Experience in the gift industry and/or with rep groups is a plus
- Enthusiasm for thoughtful design and products
- Comfortable using ERP software such as NetSuite and/or Brandwise/MarketTime to manage sales
- Sales Skills - Proven talent for sales, with a track record of exceeding goals
