Join our dynamic team at Sherwin-Williams as a Wholesale Product Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in assisting our commercial paint customers. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, providing expert answers regarding our products, and recommending the best solutions to meet their requirements.
As a Wholesale Product Specialist, you will:
- Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction through exceptional service
- Interact with customers both in-person and over the phone to determine their needs and suggest the appropriate products and services
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with wholesale customers
- Accurately process sales transactions in compliance with company policies
- Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
- Efficiently manage stock and assist in maintaining the sales floor
- Tint and mix products as per customer specifications
- Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of store displays and equipment
- Support inventory control and suggest improvements for sales strategies
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Legal authorization to work in your country without needing visa sponsorship
- A valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- The physical capability to lift and carry materials, as well as perform various tasks involving inventory
- A willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Preferred qualifications include:
- A High School diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service
- Experience selling paint and related products
- Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment
- Skills in reading, writing, and communicating in multiple languages, particularly Spanish
