Wellness Concierge + Sales Associate Location: Root Whole Body - Portland, OR

We're creating a community dedicated to whole body health-physically, mentally, emotionally. As a Wellness Concierge, you'll be the first and lasting impression of Root. You're not just scheduling appointments-you're guiding people on a wellness journey, helping them navigate options, and creating meaningful touchpoints that inspire lasting change. You're proactive and personable, with a natural ability to connect the dots between people's needs and the services that can truly support them. - Be the frontline expert on Root's services, providers, and memberships-offering personalized recommendations for each client's needs
- Drive schedule optimization through strategic booking, upselling, and cross-service referrals
- Create a welcoming, judgment-free space for every guest-whether they're booking their first massage or returning for integrative care
- Handle high-volume phone, text, and email communication with professionalism and warmth
- Be a brand ambassador for Root, sharing our values in every interaction-inside and outside the building
- Partner with leadership and providers to protect the abundance and flow of the schedule
- Coach and collaborate with peers to elevate front desk operations and team energy
- Support spa and clinic functions as needed, including light spa attendant duties, supply upkeep, and maintaining a beautiful, clean environment throughout the space
What We're Looking For:
- 2-5 years' experience in a clinic, spa, retail, or customer-facing wellness environment
- Sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
- Natural connector who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic team setting
- Deep belief in natural, integrative healthcare-ideally with your own story or passion for wellness
- Ability to multitask with precision while still offering thoughtful, empathetic service
- Confidence using technology to book, track, and follow up with clients (we use MindBody + CRM tools)
- Flexible availability-including some evenings and weekends-to meet client demand
