Were offering an exciting opportunity to join a cutting-edge aerospace company in Riverside that specializes in precision manufacturing and assembly. Our commitment to excellence spans multiple industries, and were currently seeking an experienced Welder Inspector to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect and perform welding using the GTAW process
Work with aluminum thin sheet, steel, and stainless steel
Interpret blueprints and standard weld symbols accurately
Follow established welding procedures (WPS) and work instructions
Maintain quality and dimensional standards throughout the welding process
Requirements: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with the GTAW (TIG) welding process
Skilled in welding aluminum thin sheet, steel, and stainless steel
Proficient in reading blueprints and weld symbols
Ability to pass in-house certification to AWS D17.1 standards
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications: Prior certification to AWS D17.1 welding specifications
Experience working within tight tolerances of 0.010"to 0.030"
Ability to fabricate fixtures to maintain dimensions during welding
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
High school diploma or equivalent required
