We are hiring a fabricator to form part of our manufacturing division. Candidates must have previous experience and be proficient in TIG & MIG welding. This will be a hybrid position as welder you will have welding projects but also receive training to operate shop machinery and work in a fabricator role.

Daily Responsibilities

• Work in sheet metal fabrication, bending, cutting, fitting metal, read blue-prints and completing projects

• MIG & TIG welding with stainless steel and aluminum material on small gauge material

• Learn how to operate machinery/equipment on a daily basis: Autoshear, auto bender, press brake, CNC punch, etc.

• Detail and finishing on trims, metal panels, and other projects

• Use various hand and power tools: sheet metal shears, grinders, sander, aluminum spool gun

• Complete projects from start to finish, individually, and as a team

Requirements

• Previous work experience in welding is required

• Proficiency with TIGAND MIG welding is required (GTAW & GMAW)

• Knows how to operate welding equipment, set appropriate welding parameters (e.g., heat, speed, electrode type)

• Can pass a weld test and perform quality welds

• Has basic math and measuring skills

• Comfortable in a fabrication setting, can learn to operate: lathes, notchers, CNC shears, CNC press brakes, etc.

• Preferred skills: can read blue-prints, experience with sheet metal fabrication, or operating machinery.

• Has reliable transportation

• Willing to submit background check and drug test
