POSITION SUMMARY: As the Wedding Sales Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for wedding clients. You will manage all aspects of the wedding planning process, including coordinating accommodations, food and beverage options, and other resort services, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
WAGE: The salary range for this position is $54,000 - $60,000 plus commission. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Identify and foster relationships with potential wedding clients; guide them from inquiry through to contract finalization.
- Engage in proposal presentations, negotiations, and selling of lodging, food, beverage, and additional resort offerings.
- Conduct property tours and on-site inspections to showcase Winter Park Resort's offerings.
- Send introductory communications to confirmed groups and respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
- Process contracts, deposits, and payments in an organized manner.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
- Coordinate logistical elements of wedding events, including transportation, room assignments, and banquet details.
- Create and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), floor plans, and invoices.
- Communicate all client needs promptly to involved departments to ensure a successful event.
- Participate in weekly meetings and maintain a thorough understanding of all resort offerings.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Education: - Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Experience: - A minimum of 3-5 years in hospitality or wedding planning is required.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable with booking software.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role requires the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should be capable of lifting at least 50 pounds and have the mobility to perform various tasks in an office and event environment.
