Position Responsibilities This position is responsible for implementing the organization's online community strategy by maintaining four distinct websites, including development, enhancement, and maintenance using WordPress. The position also assists in marketing efforts for conferences and events, including enhancing the event app interface, graphic design, collateral development, promotional campaigns, tracking engagement with marketing initiatives, and fostering relationships with members. As part of the Marketing & Communications team, this role will support the respective missions of the association's Events, Government Relations, and Membership teams, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a strong community online. This position requires the ability to work independently, in a support role, and collaboratively with team members for a financial services trade association. Typical tasks will include designing digital & print collateral, maintaining/building web pages and event apps, copywriting, and assisting with digital marketing strategy. Essential Job Functions Maintain day-to-day website content; develop content including photos, web copy, forms, videos, graphics, and determine optimum presentation. Support the development of print and digital collateral for events and event marketing, and overall digital marketing for social media, website, and email marketing efforts. Monitor and track monthly event marketing performance data (e.g., email campaigns, website traffic), and generate a monthly engagement report highlighting key metrics, insights, and areas for improvement. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Website Management Design, create and maintain four WordPress websites, make recommendations for improving the aesthetics and functionality, and implement changes. Analyze and improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) results for all websites to improve online visibility and accessibility. Collaborate with internal teams to create, edit, and organize website content aligned with association objectives. Responsible for website updates, including adding new content, optimizing existing pages, and maintaining accuracy. Event Marketing Collaborate with Events team and app vendor to improve event mobile app user experience and functionality. Create graphics for diverse print and digital event marketing purposes. Support the drafting, designing and scheduling of all event email marketing. Craft engaging content for event marketing materials across various platforms. Support digital advertising and promotional efforts. Track and report on key marketing performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach. Create video and digital media content. Maintain compliance with brand standards across materials. Maintain accurate and targeted email marketing lists within the association's AMS.
