Are you ready to take on a new career challenge? The Digital Modernization sector at Leidos is actively seeking a Web Development Engineer for the GSMO program that supports the Defense Information Systems Agency.
What will you do in this role? - Design and maintain web infrastructure, development of software applications, autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, web services, scripts, and utility programs.
- Conduct thorough analysis and collaborate with subject matter experts in planning, design, and development, offering your technical expertise.
- Determine user needs, programming techniques, and control requirements while preparing operating instructions and user guides.
- Ensure that all development meets software standards and security compliance.
- Architect, develop, and release custom software solutions, web-based application systems, and web services based on requirements and security compliance.
- Create stored procedures for SQL Server databases.
- Manage daily operations and maintenance tasks, including maintaining web servers and sites, troubleshooting issues, responding to service desk ticket escalations, and debugging/documenting legacy systems.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure integration issues with IIS servers and their configuration.
- Understand Active Directory authentication integration.
Basic Qualifications to be considered: - Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Active security clearance.
- CompTIA certification for DoD 8140/8570 compliance (Security+CE or GSEC).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) management and troubleshooting application and web server errors.
- Proven experience with infrastructure, Active Directory authentication, group policies, domain name services, ACLs, and integration with web servers.
- Demonstrated experience with application configuration, release, and deployment on web servers.
- Experience developing web applications and services using ASP.NET, C , and JavaScript.
- Extensive web development experience with MVC, JSON, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with OAuth authorization services in ASP.NET 5 or 6.
- Strong background in SQL Server development, stored procedures, and T-SQL.
- Experience writing PowerShell scripts.
- Proficient in applying software development principles, including design patterns, test methods, and integration practices.
- Knowledgeable about information security for Web Site Administration as per Web Server Security Technical Implementation Guide.
- In-depth understanding of object-oriented design and n-tier development.

Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
