Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking a part-time
Full Stack Web Developer for the StarLab flight software program in Houston, TX. The StarLab will be a low Earth orbit (LEO) space station that will serve as a business park for commercial space and space tourism activities.
Key Duties: - Develop and maintain a React-based web framework.
- Integrate the front end with a Hibernate-based database backend.
- Support the development team by delivering required web and data components.
- Manage user login, authentication, and password change functionality.
- Design and implement responsive, browser-based page layouts.
- Contribute to resource planning, schedule development, and task status updates.
- Identify project risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and assess impacts to schedules and budgets.
Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- 5 or more years of experience with various web technologies.
- Ability to integrate across a wide range of technical disciplines.
- Ability to coordinate with distributed teams.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: - Experience with manned-space system software and certification or analogous experience in other domains.
- Experience with build systems, Git, and development pipelines.
- Experience with event scheduling, real-time synoptic screen interfaces, and 0MQ.
- Experience with MySQL, Oracle, or MariaDB.
- Experience with Java, OpenJDK, Hibernate, and React.
