Job Description We are seeking a
Web Developer to execute the visual direction of our web presence. This individual will be responsible for the majority of our creative web design work, playing a crucial role in shaping our online brand identity and user experience.
This position is full-time, remote, and a 6-week contract. Due to the nature of this position, all candidates must be able to work direct for any employer without sponsorship. Candidates must attach/provide examples of web design projects with resume. What You'll Do: - Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites and pages, ensuring responsiveness across multiple devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Translate complex information into intuitive and engaging visual experiences, creating the creative assets for our web properties
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts
- Present design rationale and champion creative solutions to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all web properties
- Stay up-to-date on the latest web design trends and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements and innovations
- Contribute significantly to the overall web design strategy of the company
What You'll Need :
- 5+ years of experience in driving creative web designs, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of substantial projects
- Strong proficiency in design software such as AEM, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Experience with web design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices
- Experience with AEM, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic knowledge is sufficient; front-end development experience is a plus)
- Ability to lead independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Physical Demands: - Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
