As a Web Developer, you play a crucial role in bridging the gap between design and development, ensuring that every digital touchpoint is both visually compelling and highly functional. What You'll Do:

  • Develop responsive, high-performance websites and web applications with a strong emphasis on UI/UX best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and stakeholders to bring creative concepts to life through clean, efficient code.
  • Ensure websites and applications are optimized for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Translate wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups into functional, interactive web experiences.
  • Maintain and improve existing websites, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
  • Stay current with emerging web technologies, design trends, and best practices in front-end development and UX/UI design.

What You Need aka the Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in web development, computer science, graphic design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on UI/UX.
  • Proficiency in HTML and modern CSS and Java script frameworks
  • Experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch for translating UI/UX designs into code.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow).
  • Hands-on experience with API integration, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility in web applications.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO best practices, including site speed, structured data, and metadata optimization.
  • The ability to commute to the Birmingham, AL; Detroit, MI; Tampa, FL; or Lexington,KY areas.
