Job description:

Web Applications Programmer's responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:
• Development of detailed system documentation including, but not limited to: System Requirements, Design Documents, Class Diagrams, Technical Documentation, Test Plans, Implementation plans and Installation Instructions
• Meet with customers to ascertain system requirements as well as assist in user testing and implementation
• Provide SharePoint technical support for Regional Site administrators Provide Kentico technical support for FDLE Web Authors
• Configure, administer, deploy, maintain and monitor the SharePoint System, and Kentico system
• Develop and deploy new SharePoint and Kentico Sites within the FDLE
• Structure the automated testing scenarios and data
• Conduct system integration testing
• Troubleshoot reported issues/problems
• Track and manage defects
• Produce and conduct system testing, and integration testing

Deliverables include but are not limited to:
• Functional business requirements documents
• Detailed system documentation including, but not limited to, system requirements, test plans, implementation plans and installation instructions
• Error-free programming logic to meet the functional and technical requirements of the system
• SharePoint and Kentico Web Applications/Content
• Web Author assistance, training, and support

Mandatory Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3 + years of experience configuring, deploying, administering, maintaining Microsoft SharePoint 2010
• 3+ years of experience with Administration/configuration of Content Management Systems (Kentico preferred)
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document end user requirements based on the standards provided by the department, including but not limited to WBS, Use cases, activity diagrams, etc.
• Experience creating architecture and design documents based on end user requirements. Make updates to existing architecture and design documents when needed.
• Proficient in SharePoint 2010 installations and the site collection administration of SharePoint environments
• Proficient in SharePoint 2010 Central Administration
• Proficient in the modification and deployment of SharePoint service applications, web parts and tools
• Proficient in SharePoint 2010 network security schemes
• Knowledge of SharePoint server configurations (requirements and preferred architecture)
• Experience in the use of MS SharePoint Designer and MS Visual Studio as it pertains to SharePoint web part development and maintenance, Master page design, and workflow design and deployment
• Ability to create test scripts and execute test scripts
• Ability to work with end users in maintaining and executing User Acceptance Test scripts

• Ability to monitor the SharePoint environment and the Kentico environment and provide status of environment on an as needed basis
• Experience with virtual environments
• Experience with Web Development and Design
• 3+ years of experience with .NET programming (C )
• 3+ years of experience with SQL (writing stored procedures, triggers)
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
• Experience with Graphics manipulation with various software
• Experience with in depth Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) development
• Experience with Web Server migration and configuration
• Experience in Active Directory management, scripting, and maintenance
• Possess excellent communication and people skills

Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience programming in Java (J2EE)
• Experience using Project Management tools, including Microsoft Project
• Experience with Adobe Flash Media Interactive Server
• Knowledge of InfoPath forms, Dashboards within SharePoint, and Business Connectivity Services a plus
• MCTS Certification in SharePoint a plus (MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Application Development and/or MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuring)
• Microsoft Forefront Identity Management Server or ISA 2006
• Knowledge of Axceler ControlPoint for SharePoint Administration and Maintenance
• Knowledge of SharePoint MySite and User Profile Service Configuration and management
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft's Fusion Framework and Fusion Core Solution
