Position Summary: We are looking for a seasoned
Web Administrator to join a communications and web services team supporting a major public-facing website with over 3,000 pages. The role involves
80% remote work with
1 required in-office day per week in
Austin, TX. Candidates must be
local to Austin or surrounding areas. This individual will support and manage the migration of multiple interrelated websites, maintain current content and web infrastructure, and ensure compliance with accessibility and design standards. The ideal candidate is a Drupal expert with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility guidelines, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and assist in the migration of high-volume, content-rich websites
- Collaborate with IT and content teams to ensure website performance, functionality, and user experience
- Develop and maintain website content using Drupal CMS
- Update graphics, copy, tables, and other content components
- Ensure PDF accessibility and adherence to WCAG 2.1 standards
- Troubleshoot web-related issues and provide timely solutions
- Support and train web content contributors across multiple departments
- Maintain site navigation, taxonomy, and SEO best practices
- Monitor website analytics, speed, and performance
- Serve as the primary liaison between communications and IT teams

Years Required/Preferred Experience 7 Required Web administration, web design with significant exposure to managing large-scale websites 7 Required Proven experience with Drupal content management system (CMS), including content creation, taxonomy, nav 7 Required Strong portfolio of complex web design, demonstrating a solid understanding of UI/UX design 7 Required Ongoing operation, management, and maintenance of website content 7 Required Experience and understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) 7 Required Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization techniques 7 Required Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first strategies 7 Required Ability to translate technical language into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders 7 Required Strong communication skills, an ability to work collaboratively across different teams and explain technical issues 7 Required Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
