Wealth Manager / Research Analyst

A well-established and independent wealth management firm is seeking a dynamic investment professional to join its growing team. This role combines equity research with client portfolio management, offering a unique opportunity to contribute both to the firm's investment strategies and to client relationships.


About the Role

As a Wealth Manager / Research Analyst, you will have two primary responsibilities:

  • Investment Research & Portfolio Management: Research, recommend, and manage stocks within the firm's Large Cap Growth portfolio.
  • Client Advisory & Relationship Management: Collaborate with clients to manage their investments, communicate market insights, and support their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Research & Portfolio Management

  • Work alongside senior investment professionals to identify new stock opportunities, conduct fundamental analysis, and contribute to portfolio strategy.
  • Monitor existing equity holdings, providing ongoing research and recommendations for adjustments.
  • Prepare and present research findings internally and to clients, articulating the firm's investment philosophy and insights.

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage client portfolios and effectively communicate investment strategies and market conditions.
  • Lead client meetings, ensuring their financial questions are addressed with clarity and confidence.
  • Collaborate with internal team members, including financial planners and associate wealth managers, to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Delegate financial planning and administrative tasks as needed while maintaining oversight of the overall client relationship.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong investment knowledge, particularly in active management and individual securities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships with trust, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both with clients and internally.
  • Highly organized, accountable, and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize client needs.
  • Comfortable discussing investment strategies with clients across different market cycles.
  • A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development. CFA designation highly preferred.
