Waterfront Security Manager with Security Clearance

Position Summary:
We are hiring a Waterfront Security Manager to oversee and support U.S. Navy Port Operations and small craft waterfront security efforts. This role requires substantial experience in Navy port operations, Harbor Patrol Units, small boat operations, and security-related inspections.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day waterfront operations, small craft use, and security procedures.

• Coordinate with Navy Port Operations and Harbor Patrol Units to ensure security compliance.

• Operate and supervise personnel on Navy small boats (18-30 ft) in support of mission requirements.

• Conduct material condition assessments on Navy small boats per PRESINSURV standards.

• Provide technical and operational guidance for small boat maintenance and readiness.

• Oversee launch, recovery, and movement of vessels along Navy waterfront facilities.

• Maintain documentation and readiness status for inspections and compliance. Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret Security Clearance at time of application submission.

• Minimum of 5 years of high-level experience post-certification performing small boat maintenance and waterfront operations without supervision.

• Experience and knowledge of Navy Port Operations mission and organizational structure as well as Harbor Patrol Unit waterfront security operations and requirements.
• In-depth experience operating vessels similar in size and function to U.S. Navy small craft.

• Minimum of 5 years of high-level experience performing material assessments on Navy small boats to include in-depth understanding of President Board of Inspections and Survey (PRESINSURV) small boat inspection policy and procedures. Preferred Qualifications:

• U.S. Navy or Department of Defense background.

• Strong leadership and coordination skills.

• Excellent documentation and inspection reporting ability.
