What You'll Do:
- Design & Planning: Assist in developing comprehensive engineering designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Technical Excellence: Support senior engineers in creating technical drawings, schematics, and design calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Project Support: Participate in all phases from planning and design to permitting, bidding, and construction
- Field Experience: Conduct site visits and observations under senior engineer supervision
- Client Collaboration: Participate in client meetings and project coordination sessions
- Regulatory Compliance: Support permit applications and ensure designs meet all federal, state, and local regulations
Technical Skills You'll Develop:
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for infrastructure design
- Experience with HydroCAD and stormwater modeling software
- Hydraulic modeling and system analysis
- Regulatory permitting and compliance processes
- Construction administration and quality assurance
- Cost estimation and project documentation
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (ABET-accredited)
- Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification required
- Minimum 1+ years of consulting engineering experience in water/wastewater or related infrastructure
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred:
- Working toward Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with municipal water/wastewater projects
- Familiarity with stormwater modeling software
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
