We are Hiring Water Treatment Technicians in White, GA

Summary:

We are seeking a Water Treatment Technician to support the daily operations of utility systems within a manufacturing facility. This includes the monitoring and maintenance of systems such as ultrapure water (UPW), wastewater treatment, water supply, and other critical equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient operations while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Schedule: Training: Monday- Friday 8AM-5PM (2 Weeks) After Training: 6PM-6:30AM on a 2-2-3 Rotating schedule Pay: $24.00/hr + $1.00 (Night Shift Differential)

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor water systems including UPW, wastewater treatment, and recycling systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment such as pumps, valves, filters, and instrumentation.
  • Respond to system alarms, identify issues, and perform necessary repairs.
  • Carry out gas and chemical loading and unloading safely.
  • Replace filters and conduct cleaning procedures (CIP and COP)
  • Track equipment performance, maintenance tasks, and complete reports.
  • Assist with SOP and LOTO procedure development.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts, chemicals, and consumables.
  • Maintain clean and organized equipment and utility areas.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with safety regulations and operational standards.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as directed by management.


Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent time management and task execution.
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds and working in fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environments.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and following safety procedures.
  • Reliable, proactive, and team oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in utilities, water treatment, or similar roles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with pumps (centrifugal, reciprocating, etc.) and instrumentation systems.
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Experience with basic chemistry or lab processes.
  • Relevant certifications in utility systems or maintenance are a strong advantage.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift (up to 90%).
