Water Aerobics Instructor

Description

Water Aerobics Instructors are responsible for: - Create lesson plans and classes to accommodate a diverse community. - Create and keep a safe environment for the community and staff. - Work with the Aquatic Facility Director to schedule classes and programs. - Maintaining a current certification in fitness training or water aerobics. - Teach water aerobics and other aquatic fitness classes to a wide range of community members. - Communicating effectively with students, students, staff and the community. - Assist aquatic center management team and staff with tasks as needed. -Must be at least 17 years of age - Must be able to assist in water rescues as needed - Must be able to get and maintain a fitness and or water aerobics instructor certification from a nationally recognized organization - Possession of a Red Cross Lifeguard certification preferred
