We are seeking a Lead Engineer with expertise in civil or environmental engineering to manage projects, mentor team members, and contribute to the design and development of project plans. You will work closely with clients, supervisors, and project teams to ensure successful project completion while playing a key role in business development and marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering services, including studies, planning, design, specifications, reports, and project management.
- Lead and collaborate with project teams, ensuring clear communication throughout all project phases.
- Manage project meetings and client interactions.
- Prepare proposals and participate in interviews to secure new work.
- Mentor junior staff and work collaboratively with engineering teams on multi-discipline projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and company guidelines.
- Travel and overtime may be required, especially during the construction season.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within 6-12 months.
- 7+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
- Strong project management and construction management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic/process modeling is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license.
