Our client, a leader in waste management services, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee collections across multiple lines of business. This role will manage commercial, residential, roll-off (industrial), container delivery/pickup, and portable toilet operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance while driving efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead daily operations, managing drivers and helpers across multiple service lines.
  • Implement and enforce safety programs, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to keep fleet and equipment in top condition.
  • Oversee route optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Resolve service issues, schedule changes, and customer concerns promptly.
  • Monitor and improve missed pickup goals, ensuring service excellence.
  • Develop and mentor employees, fostering career growth within the company.
  • Ensure adherence to operational budgets, labor hours, and expense controls.
  • Act as a key representative, driving customer satisfaction and company loyalty.

Qualifications:


  • 3 years of supervisory or lead experience in operations, logistics, or waste management.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build and lead effective teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical leadership.
  • Experience optimizing routes and improving service efficiency is a plus.
