Waste Material Administrator

We have an amazing opportunity for a Waste Material Administrator to join our TOTEX Support team, based in our Leeds office.
In this role you will provide essential support to the help manage all waste materials for our emergency and planned works. This role will involve going to sites prior to operational activities taking place in order to collect material samples, ensuring prompt delivery to the accredited laboratories for analysis. This role will also be responsible for ensuring the test results are uploaded to NGN systems and the maintenance of data on these systems.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
- Management of the material waste system, ensuring all data is uploaded and accurate.
- Management of all test results and certificates, uploading the results into the system.
- Planning of workload, programme of testing in accordance with procedures and ensuring strict compliance during sampling.
- Providing data and management information reports as and when required.
- Supporting Northern Gas Networks operational teams on the waste materials programme and procedures.
What we are looking for someone who
- Is capable of managing their workload, prioritising work/sampling in accordance with a specified programme ensuring quotas/targets are met.
- Has a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Holds a full driving licence.
- Has experience using computer-based applications MS Office excel as well as bespoke systems (use of SAP would be beneficial).
- Has experience in producing MI reports.
- Is a good communicator both written and verbal.
- Has an understanding of NRSWA and waste material sampling would be desirable but is not essential.
